The camp was designed as a highly practical training experience for ambitious players rated 1400-1900 seeking to improve their understanding of the opening and middlegame. It placed a strong emphasis on dynamic play, while also covering a wide range of positional examples.
First, Grandmaster Aleksander Goloshchapov independently analyzed the students’ games, identifying the most common mistakes and recurring patterns typical for this rating range. These critical themes were then carefully examined and thoroughly discussed during the training sessions.
Special attention was given to understanding why blunders occur and how to systematically minimize them through better time management, piece coordination, and positional awareness.
