The camp was designed as a highly practical training experience for ambitious players rated 1400–1900, with the entire focus on Positional Play.
First, Grandmaster Aleksander Goloshchapov independently analyzed the students’ games, selecting the most instructive positional episodes that players at this level typically face in their own games. These games were then thoroughly discussed during the camp sessions, with special attention given to typical positional patterns and practical decision-making.
The camp focused on developing a deeper understanding of positional play concepts and general principles, helping players recognize typical patterns in practice.
Special attention was given to common positional mistakes at the 1400–1900 level and to systematic methods for avoiding them through better understanding and strategic thinking.Key topics covered during the camp:
