The camp was designed as a highly practical training experience for ambitious players rated 1400–1900, who struggle to understand when to take the initiative and how to turn it into a real attack.
First, Grandmaster Aleksander Goloshchapov independently analyzed the students’ games, selecting the most instructive episodes on initiative and attack that players at this level typically face in their own games. These games were then thoroughly discussed during the camp sessions, with special attention given to attacking patterns and practical decision-making.
The camp focused on developing a deeper understanding of the fight for initiative and attacking play concepts and general principles, helping players recognize typical patterns in practice.
